Is being a makeup arstist a good job in the uk?

does it pay well and what qualifications do you have to have?


im currently taking my A levels and want to do something at uni im not sure yet..Is being a makeup arstist a good job in the uk?
Well i hope so! im also from the UK and want to become a make-up artist, im applying for unis in bournemouth and London atm, to study Theatrical make-up and special effects. I think the pay can be VERY good if u become high up in it and work for films/tv etc. Good luck :) xIs being a makeup arstist a good job in the uk?
i'm currently doing a make-up artist course in college and its really good! you'll probably have to live in london or new york, and it pays pretty well but you're basically self-employed. hope this helps
