Prescriptives have over 500 shades of foundation so they pretty much tailor make it just for you!!
Sorry, I seem to only have given expensive options but they tend to have the most variety!!
Hope this helps.Which makeup brands in uk do the yellow based foundation for indian skin tones???
im indian and ive used a lot of expensive brands of foundation, most of the ones already mentioned. Ive found that the best brand in terms of colour, choice, and coverages is Mac. theres all sorts of finishes- from light to full and different types depending on whether your skin is dry/ oily. Its definitely the best brand for women of colour and the consultants are really helpful too. A lot of celebrities wear it and all my indian friends wear it and we're all different shades. try it, i think you'll like it.Which makeup brands in uk do the yellow based foundation for indian skin tones???
I'm not Indian but I know that Virgin Vie do a pink version and a yellowy version of their shades. I use the pink as it suits my skin tone.
Clarins don't do the pink. All of theirs seem to have a yellow base. I quite like their stuff but it is expensive.
Virgin Vie will let you have a sample and most of the make-up counters in Boots and Debenhams will do you a free consultation so that you can see what suits your skins and see how it reacts with your skin before you buy it.
Good Luck!
I don't know if they do a yellow based foundation, but I'm half bengali, and one of my friends is indian, and another afghan, and we're all using Elizabeth Ardens compact creme foundation at the moment. If you go into a department store, they will use a machine to tell you which shade would be best suited to your skin tone. I definatly recommend you try it. Hope you find what you're looking for. xx
Im a pale-yellow coloured indian and i use Loreal True match in shade N3 or shade W3 (depending on wether its summer or winter). If your slightly darker then id sugegest W5 or N4. They blend amazingly well, have great staying power (last at least 6 hours in sweaty summer) and they dont break the bank either at 拢6.99 a bottle. Its available pretty much everywhere, Boots(拢8.99) , Superdrug (拢6.99), Asda Living (拢6.99) just to name a few.

I would stay away from Dream matte mousse as they have orange and pink bases which will make your skin look flat and lifeless.
